My name is Margaret Burns, I’m a kinesiologist, Herbalist & Transformational Coach offering educational journeys, workshops, & energy work.

my work

I believe in radical, whole-human care, using energy medicine, acupressure & meridian therapy, craniosacral work, & rebuilding of the nervous system. I am a root-cause practitioner & my mission is to empower others through spiritual wellness. My work has taken me around the world to study at the source. I have traveled to India, Bali, Australia, The Temple of the Dalai Lama, Belize, Costa Rica & the islands off the coast of Spain.

I am a trained midwife, birth & postpartum doula, Reiki Master, Registered Yoga Teacher, & a Kinesiologist. My Master’s Report is on Mirror Touch Synesthesia & How Alternative Modalities Work. I speak on meditation, the life of the Empath, the Esoteric Woman, & I am a proud member of Hive Global Leaders, whose vision is a happy, healthy, & fully alive world for all people. I have also volunteered for Teal Swan. I hold masters degrees in both English from the University of Texas at Austin & Philosophical Theology from Austin Seminary.

I wish to thank my daughters, who have taught me everything about unconditional love, & my parents, who continue to support me even though I have always done things differently. Many thanks go to Calyx Wellness Studio, my mentor, Melissa Sandon with Soul Medicine Academy, Chiraz Bensemmane, creator of CoachTribe, & Nicole Smith Levay, whose invitation to collaborate at Imaloa Institute has been life-changing.

I was born with synesthesia, which means my senses were crossed due to a very active pineal gland; I saw auras & “heard” colors, felt the story of things just by looking at them, & lived in a dreamlike world for much of my childhood. I began studying herbal medicine when I was 17, as a way to heal tremendous pain in my nervous system that was also reflected in my body as chronic exhaustion.

Since then, my passion remains working with our physical & energetic bodies so that we can bring our full souls to earth in this lifetime, especially during epic change.
